- Legal . Privacy
Last updated: October 2026. This policy explains how this website handles your information - which is deliberately very little.
01 - Who is responsible
This website is operated by Dr Mohammed Alam, PhD, London, United Kingdom. For the purposes of the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), Dr Alam is the data controller for any personal information you choose to share through this site. You can reach him using the Contact form.
02 - What information is collected
This website has no accounts, no analytics tracking and no advertising. The only personal information received is what you voluntarily submit through the contact form - typically your name, email address, organisation and message. This information is used solely to respond to your enquiry and is never sold, rented or shared with third parties for marketing.
03 - How the contact form works
The contact form sends your name, email address, optional organisation, subject and message to the website’s server for validation and forwarding to the private receiving mailbox. The form uses a hidden spam-check field. Hosting and email systems process the submission to deliver the enquiry.
04 - Cookies and local storage
When you accept the cookie notice, that preference is saved in your own browser's local storage so the banner does not reappear. It is never transmitted anywhere. This site sets no tracking, analytics or advertising cookies.
05 - Third-party services
The language selector is provided by GTranslate, which uses Google Translate - selecting a language sends the page text to Google for translation, subject to Google's own privacy policy. The embedded video is served by YouTube, which may set its own cookies when played. Links to LinkedIn, Instagram, X, YouTube and Enterprise Nation lead to external sites governed by their own privacy policies.
06 - Your rights
Under the UK GDPR you may request a copy of any personal information held about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, or object to its use. Use the Contact form to submit your request. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
07 - Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a revised date. Significant changes will be highlighted on the site.
