01 - The thesis

A career built on the quiet insistence that education, industry and enterprise belong to the same conversation.

I began in a small development organisation in Bangladesh, learned business at scale in Saudi Arabia, built enterprise in Bahrain, and returned to scholarship in the United Kingdom. Each chapter has fed the next. Teaching is stronger when it understands practice; organisations benefit when evidence travels beyond the university; and mentoring or public engagement helps knowledge reach wider communities.
